Stock orders: create new stock order

You can use Salonized to track product inventory. Here you read how to enable asset management, but also how to create a new stock order so you can enter the order at one time without updating your stock per product. On this page we explain how this all works.
Ordering products: how to create a new stock order
On the products page, got to the Stock Order tab
On this page, all orders you make with Salonized are saved. Click 'new stock order" button at the top right.
Select the right supplier to create a new order.
If you have chosen a supplier, a list of all products covered by this supplier will appear. In addition to each product, you will see what you have set as minimal inventory, and what the current inventory of this product is.
On the left, you can click on products that you want to order. On the right, you fill in how much you want to order from each product.
Click "Save" at the top right if you want to edit it later. Click "Order" in the upper right corner if your purchase list is finished.
Sending your purchase order to the supplier
If you clicked "Order", you will see a screen with details of this order. After you checked it, you can print or save the order list by pressing the print button at the top right. You can then send the order list as a PDF-file to the supplier by mail.
You can also add notes to your order, which will be shown on the print / PDF of the purchase order.
A new delivery: process the stock order
When the order arrives, return to the Stock Order section of the Products page. Click on "process" in the upper right to immediately update the inventory of all products on this order.
After clicking on "process", you will get a control panel. You will see the amount you ordered by product, so you can check if you have actually received what you ordered.
If this number matches the received numbers, click on "process" again in the upper right corner.
Does the received number not match the ordered ones? Fill in the amount you actually received, so the stock can be updated correctly. When this happens, Salonized asks you if you want to finalize your purchase order or want to save it as Backorder, until you received the correct amount of products. After receiving the missing products, you can enter your backorder. The complete order is now being processed and your stock is updated.
