Privacy Statement Salonized

Salonized B.V., located at Vijzelstraat 79 (1017 HG) in Amsterdam (hereinafter: “Salonized” or “we”), processes personal information of its customers in the context of providing its services. Salonized informs you in this privacy statement about how we handle this personal information. This privacy statement applies to the processing of personal information pertaining to our customers, potential customers and other persons who visit our website or are in contact with us.

Salonized provides services to businesses. This privacy statement is therefore addressed to (owners and employees of) those businesses, who procure services of Salonized or are planning to do so and whose personal information is processed in that context.

Are you a consumer whose personal information is processed in the software of Salonized, and do you want to know how your privacy is handled? In that case, Salonized refers to the privacy statement of the business who uses the service of Salonized. This business is responsible for the processing using the software of Salonized, and can inform you about it.

Personal information, bases and purposes

The following table sets out which personal information we process for which category of processing, on which basis in the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) we do so, for which purposes we process the personal information and how long we store the data.

Contact      
If you contact us by means of the web form on the website, by email, WhatsApp, telephone, social media or by mail, then we process certain personal information. In most cases, this will concern your contact information such as your name, address, telephone number and email address. We process this personal information because this is necessary for the representation of our legitimate interest, namely being able to exercise our work activities and acquiring new assignments. We use this contact information to contact you to answer your questions or to be able to of service to you in another manner. We store your Personal Information for as long as necessary to carry out the activities which are set out in this Privacy Policy, are communicated to you in another manner or as long as allowed by applicable legislation.
Account and subscription      
For the creation of a (trial) account with Salonized, Salonized processes the following information provided by you: name, company name, email address and login details. If you also conclude a subscription to a service of Salonized, Salonized also processes the (invoice) address, telephone number and payment information provided by you. We process this personal information because it is necessary for our service provision (execution agreement) We use this information to create your account for you and to manage your subscription. We store this data for as long as your account exists. We save invoices during a period of at least seven years after the end of the financial year in order to be able to comply to the tax-related retention obligation.
Newsletter      
We can use your email address to send you our newsletter. If you have a subscription with us, then there is a so-called “existing customer relationship” and we send you these mailings pursuant to our legitimate interest. If you have not made use of our services before, but have been in contact with us in another manner (such as by filling in the contact form or if you have created a trial account), we will only send these mailings, if you have granted permission for it. You may always unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our mails. Sending our newsletter with updates about our service provision or relevant developments or offers. We send you a newsletter until you unsubscribe from it. If you unsubscribe, we delete your email address, unless we still require it for another processing.



Our policy regarding Cookies
Just like other commercial websites and apps, our Platform uses standard technologies, including cookies and similar auxiliary materials, including web server logs, web beacons, tokens, pixel tags, local storage, device IDs and tracking IDs (jointly referred to as “Cookies” in this Privacy Policy) to improve your user experience, improve our site and offer personalised offers on Salonized and other sites. These cookies can be placed on our website by our advertisers. They may be used by those companies to compose a profile of your interests and show you relevant advertisements on other websites. They do not save direct personal information, but they are based on unique identifiers of your browser and internet device. These cookies keep track of the surfing behaviour of individual persons. Other organisations than Salonized create profile with this type of cookies to, for example, make personalised advertisements possible on other websites with whom these cookies are shared. - Retention period cookies
The retention period differs per cookie. Some are deleted automatically at the end of a session, so when you close your browser. Other cookies are saved for a longer period, varying from one day to an undetermined period (we call these persistent in the overview).



Sharing data with third parties
Your data is stored (and therefore processed) by our IT providers (for infrastructure, hosting, support, troubleshooting, logbook, email, text). We have concluded a processing agreement with these parties.

The data which is collected through cookies is processed by the providers of these cookies. We have concluded a processing agreement with these providers.

We do not provide your data to third parties otherwise, unless we are obligated to provide certain information pursuant to applicable laws and legislation.

We do not process your personal information outside of the European Union.

Security
Salonized takes suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information and against loss, abuse and unauthorised access by third parties. For example, Salonized makes use of an encrypted SSL connection, regular internal audits, encrypted storage of passwords, and measures against unauthorised access, SQL-injections, cookie/session hijacking and cross-site scripting.

Rights
If Salonized has processed your information, you have the following rights:
a. The right of inspection in your personal information and receiving a copy of it.
b. The right of rectification of your personal information if it is not correct or incomplete.
c. The right to object to the processing and/or - in certain cases - the right to limit the processing of your personal information.
d. In certain cases: the right to have your personal information deleted (‘right to oblivion’).
e. If we process your data on the basis of your permission: the right to revoke this permission.
f. The right to receive your personal information in a structured, common and machine-readable form and to transfer that data to another.

If you are not satisfied about the handling of your complaint or if you prefer not to submit your complaint with us, then you can also submit it to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, through the website autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Amendments
This privacy statement may be amended. Salonized therefore advises you to regularly check whether this privacy statement is revised. We will post a notification on the website in the event of substantial changes or inform you of the amendment by email.
